FREE Family Drop In Day

Event Postponed
Very sadly we have made the difficult decision to postpone Saturday’s Little New Park Ranger Family Drop in Day.
This is due to the poor weather conditions which have caused wet, muddy ground which will result in issues for car parking and visitor safety in the woods.
There is further rain due this week along with very strong winds on Friday, meaning we simply can't ensure the event will be ready and safe to run.
We are all so disappointed!
Details regarding the new date of this fantastic event are to follow, so keep an eye on our Facebook page and check back here for updates.
In the meantime, we still have plenty of availability for our ticketed Little New Park Ranger courses running throughout the Easter holidays.

Plenty of Forest Fun
Lots of fantastic outdoor, educational fun activities in our beautiful ancient woodland!
Everyone Welcome
Suitable for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
Fun Activities Amongst the Trees!
This very special Little New Park Ranger activity day, will be jam-packed with fun filled activities including our forest treasure trail to discover some woodland wonders, activities investigating the functions of our amazing trees and thinking about what these tall leafy friends do for us. There will also be plenty of creative nature-based arts and crafts.
Awaken your Woodland Spirit
We are sure you will leave us with a large dose of woodland wellbeing boost, the inspiration to continue your New Forest explorations and empowered with some knowledge of the importance of our woodlands in combatting the climate and nature emergency.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to our special event. Please read the below information to maximise your enjoyment of the day!
- Timings: There will be two sessions during the day, so please ensue you arrive within the designated times: 10am to 12 noon and 1pm to 3pm
- Event Address: The Showground, New Park, Brockenhurst. SO42 7QH
- Directions: Please use the main entrance to New Park (signposted New Park and New Park Manor Hotel). After crossing the second cattle grid turn immediately Right and follow the track up to the car park. Route will be signposted. Onsite parking is free of charge.
- What to Wear: Please note that all activities will be 100% outdoors so please dress according to the weather, including suitable footwear.
- Facilities: Please note the only facilities we have will be toilets and hand washing.
- Refreshments: Please ensure you bring any food or drinks you will need during your time with us.
- Accessibility: Please note that all our activities will be as accessible as possible for everyone but some activities will include travelling over uneven and muddy terrain so may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
- Supervision: This is a family friendly event, designed for adults and children to take part in together. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
